This holiday was such a great experience and much needed - and close to home! I would definitely go back again. Am feeling so refreshed! The whole point of this holiday was it to be a kick starter for a healthier lifestyle and I feel that I achieved it!
- The staff was adorable.
- The SPA itself is gorgeous - the way it is designed, the rooms, the mood.
- The spa therapists know exactly what they're doing - the massages were perfect.
- I had booked one beach jogging activity, which I ended up doing it every morning with the trainer, who was so encouraging and present - and it was never about the one hour that was agreed upon but more about me improving. Very grateful for that!
- I loved the fact that this whole trip was more of a wellness one rather than a boot camp. So no pressure or hassle. And I managed to do it all plus the extras because I had the freedom to organise myself the way I wanted.
- The gym has state of the art machines- was very impressed with the Peak Pilates one.
- Food is seriously out of this world but it made difficult to control my calorie intake.
I would definitely go back again for many reasons (and am not the type who goes to the same place twice). The SPA, the staff, the food, the service - and not to mention the awesome location of this hotel.
The whole holiday was fabulous, we absolutely loved it and are planning to return again next year. I am actually in Dubai at the moment and it feels tacky in comparison! Accommodation - our room was nice and spacious, large lovely balcony and cleaned thoroughly every day. The breakfast was vast, fresh with an extremely good selection. We ate lunch on the sundeck most days and as the portions were so large we ordered one meal between the two of us. We had room service on our balcony 2 nights as we were too chilled out to get dressed. The spa was fantastic, every treatment was fabulous and we actually bought another massage while we were there as it was one of the best that I had ever experienced (and I have used most of the Four Seasons spas around the world). JJ was our personal trainer and he was excellent both knowledgeable and motivational. His pilates classes were fantastic. All the staff in the spa were lovely but JJ really was the best and very patient with us. The hotel, pool area and sundeck were fabulous and all the staff couldn’t do enough for us. There was a shuttle bus every half hour into Bodrum which cost £1 and runs until 2am. We only went the one night and it was a great experience for shopping. We definitely want to repeat the experience next year! I think that we would stay on for longer and have our husbands join us!
We had a fabulous time in Kempinski! We both thought it was the best holiday we ever had! The service and the food were amazing. The hotel transfer is a special treat and we were upgraded to a lovely room. The weather was perfect- we spent every day on the sundeck. Had great treatments, used the Pilates reformer everyday- which I loved. Thank you Health and Fitness Travel for arranging this experience for us. I recommend it to everyone.
I visited this hotel whilst on a day trip to Gozo and am a real spa lover. This hotel is THE place to go if you are looking for a spa break. The spa facilities are some of the best I have ever seen. They have an Ayurveda consultant who is on hand to to plan your treatments prior to your visit. The bedrooms are very traditional to compliment the rest of the building. There is a stunning staircase down to the restaurant and a wine cellar. The pools are beautiful with one which is for adults only. I would say this would be an ideal honeymoon and couples hotel as it is blissfully peaceful and very luxurious. The ferry from malta to Gozo only takes 20 minutes and runs frequently and the transfer to the hotel is about 10 minutes or so.
The hotel is beautiful the rooms are excellent could not fault this hotel 5 star plus. The staff go out of there way to please nothing to much trouble. The spa is the perfect place to unwind and the treatments are heavenly, again the staff go out of there way to make it a wonderful experience. The hotel is clean and well maintained everything tip top. The staff are there to tend your every need. It's fine dining was amazing and if they didn't have what you liked on the menu they would create something to your taste, presentation was second to none. We had a room over looking the pool with a balcony which was really nice. The gardens are well tended and all looked very pretty. They had plenty of information on Gozo and happy to arrange transport and advice places to visit. My husband went diving with the dive club at the hotel and had a most enjoyable day diving the Blue Whole, and the in land sea. They arranged everything for the day, whilst I enjoyed a day in the spa being pampered. Best four days of our holiday and will return.
