Santé Wellness Retreat & Spa is situated in beautiful surroundings of the Cape Winelands encircled by magnificent mountains only a short distance from the city of Paarl. Paarl is the third oldest settlement in South Africa and a historically significant city as the origin of the Afrikaans language. The area is renowned for its vineyards and offers some of the best wines around.
At the heart of Santé Wellness is their passion towards nutritious food tailored to the individual, with only the finest seasonal and local produce used. All meals are prepared without the use of sugar, dairy, gluten, colourants or preservatives with menus changing daily.
Nourish
Nourish is situated on-site with views over dramatic dams, surrounded by the stunning Drakenstein Mountain Range and is beautifully decorated with neutral tones and textures in keeping with the local landscape. A separate lounge with a grand piano compliments the setting and the cuisine is all made from local ingredients and created by seasoned, passionate chefs.
Day Spa
Day Spa dining has an atrium style feel with folding glass doors with a visage of the gardens and surrounding mountains. Day Spa has indoor and outdoor seating in an elegant but fresh décor serving up Santé signature lunches. Menus change daily and are based on seasonal availability of the freshest ingredients.

There are a number of points of interest to visit in the surrounding area, such as The Afrikaans Language Monument, on Paarl Mountain. This was created to commemorate influences other languages have played in the development of Afrikaans. Another point of interest is the Drakenstein Prison, this is where Nelson Mandela spent his last years of captivity and made the ‘long walk to freedom’. Santé Wellness is also only a 45-minute drive from Cape Town where you can find some of the best beaches in South Africa.
In addition there are 3 top class golf courses only 10 to 20 minutes away as well as numerous wine farms and the famous Franschhoek Wine Tram.
